Meet Radek, a man who has spent nearly two decades improving flow of work in multiple organizations
and still hasn’t had enough.
Through his consulting and training company, Lean Agile Ninja, he helps teams, organizations, and
executives find better ways to organize work and deliver value.
He is an accredited Kanban Trainer and Consultant, as well as one of the first Team Topologies Advocates
and training partners in his region. He is based in Poland but works both remotely and on-site across
Europe.
Outside of work, he’s a lifelong Star Trek fan and an enthusiast of water sports and activities. He is also a
husband and father of two. He hosts an audio podcast called “Kanban przy kawie.”
Speaking the Same Language About Teams

We often use terms such as “team,” “stream of work,” and “platform,” but do we understand them in the same way? Many Kanban practitioners emphasize building context-based systems that fit the organization rather than copying a model. But how do we find a good starting point within an existing structure?
In this session, I’ll share my experience working with leaders in a large organization to map their teams, services, and dependencies using Team Topologies patterns. By establishing a shared language, stream-aligned platform, we were able to clarify relationships, reveal service boundaries, and design connected Kanban systems at scale.
